The Gare de Lyon is one of the six large railway lines within Paris for both train facilities and metro, the station handles around 90,000,000 passengers worldwide which makes it France’s third busiest station. Wanting to hire a car but don’t have a credit card? This can be a pretty hard process as majority of companies won’t allow you to do so, we have however managed to arrange a deal that means debit cards can be accepted at Gare de Lyon, there are restrictions in regards to debit card car hire.

Young Driver Car Hire

Are you under the age of 25? Then hiring a car can also be a problematic process as many companies will not allow you to do so for insurance reasons, we have contacted a supplier at Gare De Lyon that is willing to allow our customers to be under 25. The minimum age we have managed to arrange is 21 given that you have held your licence for a year prior to picking up the vehicle.

Free Additional Driver

When hiring a car you may expect to be the only driver for the duration of the rental but this doesn’t always have to be the case. We can allow you to add an additional driver onto your rental period completely free of cost given that they are of course qualified to hire the car themselves.

Car Booking in Scotland

I now live in Australia but travel back to Scotland, my home every year I can, which means hiring a car each time. Having use different hire companies and hiring agencies over the last 30 years, I can truthfully say that Indigo stands out above them all for both value for money and service.I have no problem and do refer Indigo to all my friends when traveling.

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
